All happy holidays, on May 9, I was resting with my family, so I'm posting work today, I seem to be in time.
May 9 is truly a legendary holiday! When sad and joyful at the same time!
It all started suddenly, on June 22, 1941, without warning.
According to Hitler's calculations, in 1941 the Soviet Union as a mighty power should have ceased to exist. Then Hitler would not have an enemy behind his back, and he would have received a large amount of raw materials and agricultural products.

It seemed like a great plan, but Hitler did not take into account our mentality and the courage of the Soviet area!
In the first years of its existence, the fighting qualities of the Red Army, which played a decisive role in World War II, were low, since it was formed from heterogeneous elements - parts of the old army, detachments of Red Guards and sailors, peasant militias.
But time passed and the spirit only grew!

There were many battles, but the blockade of Leningrad was of particular importance!
During the Siege of Leningrad, according to various sources, from 600 thousand to 1,5 million people died. Only 3% of them died from bombing and shelling; the remaining 97% died of hunger
The Battle of Stalingrad also made a huge contribution to the victory.
The Battle of Stalingrad, which took place during World War II, became one of the bloodiest in the history of mankind: on the battlefield, which lasted from July 17, 1942 to February 2, 1943, more than 470 thousand Soviet soldiers and about 300 thousand German soldiers died. The victory of the Soviet Army in this battle raised the political and military prestige of the Soviet Union.

The act of unconditional surrender of the German armed forces was signed on May 7 in Reims, France. The surrender of Nazi Germany took effect on May 8 at 23:01 CET and on May 9 at 01:01 Moscow time.
By accepting the surrender, the Soviet Union did not sign peace with Germany - in fact, Germany and the Soviet Union remained at war. The decree on the termination of the state of war was adopted by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR only on January 25, 1955.

As a result, I note that these are the events that we must remember and honor the achievements of our ancestors, thanks to which we can live and enjoy the peaceful sky overhead [/ quote]

    All the holiday!
For our family, as for many, it is a holiday not only of victory, but also of the return of my great-grandfather from the war. He had a lot of stories * you can't even remember *. * But I managed to knock a few stories out of him. I want to tell one.
It was in 43, in winter. The blockade of Leningrad was broken. My great-grandfather, together with his friend and the entire 67th Army of the Leningrad Front, liberated the small town of Shlisselburg, which opened the southern coast of the Ladoga Sea. But the most interesting thing happened after the liberation. The command demanded further offensive so that the evacuation of people from Leningrad was as safe as possible. My great-grandfather Mikhail Astashkin and his friend Alexei Koshursov noticed that the Germans were bringing fresh resources to the Sinyavino area. Seeing this, they reported to their commander about the strong defense of the Germans, after which the Red Army went on the defensive in order to prevent the return of the southern coast of the German lake. As a result of this liberation, 500 thousand people were evacuated from besieged Leningrad, but the story does not end there after a long defense. In the winter of the next year, the same 67th Army, this time performed a different function. Grandfather said: * Each of us laughed during the shelling of the Germans, because everyone understood that the Germans no longer knew where the blow would come from, and wasted their energy on us * And so it happened. A friend of my great-grandfather, who was transferred to the 42nd Army, moved the front line 4.5 km further from Leningrad. At that time, the 67th Army went south to the Pushkino area. But after Pushkino there was the Tosno-Siversky line, where the 67th Army fought for a long time , but tore out all the cities on this line. Great-grandfather commented: * By that time there was no doubt that the Germans would no longer go to Leningrad. * But this was not yet a victory, and the offensive continued. By that time, the 42nd Army, in which there was a friend great-grandfather, and the 67th army went to the same goal, but from different sides - it was necessary to break through the city of Luga. My great-grandfather said: * When I heard that the 42nd Army would help me and Luga, there were as many forces as there weren't before the war *. As a result of all the operations, it was possible to move the front line by more than 100 km. Further I could not pull out of my great-grandfather. But after reading information about these liberations on the Internet, I saw that more than 700 cities were liberated and movement between Moscow and Leningrad was restored. A huge achievement during the war, after which the Germans only retreated.
Happy Holidays to everyone, do not forget your heroes.

Congratulations to all blog investors on Victory Day!
I remembered a story told by my grandmother. The events of this story took place in a Ukrainian village in western Ukraine. Two brothers and their mother lived in this village. The youngest was 15 years old, the oldest 18 years old. When the war began, senior Dmitry went to the front. The younger Roman stayed with his mother. Just a couple of days after the start of the war, the Germans came to their village. What is most interesting, as my grandmother said, the locals met the Germans with bread and salt, as liberators, everything had endured from the Soviet regime. The town of Rivne was located a few kilometers from the village. It should be noted that a significant part of the Ukrainian lands was included in the Reichskomisariat "Ukraine" with the center in Rivne, Gauleiter Erich Koch was appointed the Commissioner of Ukraine. According to the stories of my grandmother, the Germans treated the locals quite well, enterprises, a cinema, and clubs worked in the city. All local residents were provided with food coupons, workers were paid good wages. Working at one time with archival documents of that time, I found confirmation of the grandmother's stories. Obviously, the history that we studied in school days was completely different.
True, the situation changed dramatically in 1942, when partisan detachments intensified their activities in the Rivne region, as well as as a result of a series of murders of German generals committed by Soviet intelligence officer Nikolai Kuznetsov. After these killings, the German administration began brutal punitive actions against the civilian population.
Let's go back to our brothers. The younger Roman, who turned 16, joined the Ukrainian nationalists, who at that time began active military operations against the Germans.
The war years passed, Dmitry went through the whole war without a single wound, he was lucky, he reached Berlin itself. After the end of the war, he returned to his native village. Has changed a lot, became cruel, aggressive. The war had transformed him greatly.
The younger brother Roman continued to fight, though not with the Germans, but with the Soviet regime.
Dmitry found out that his younger brother was a Bandera soldier, and without hesitation handed him over. A special detachment of the NKVD was called, which completely destroyed the "swarm" where Roman had fought. The mother, having learned about the death of her youngest son, soon died.
A year has passed since the death of Roman. Dmitry lived for his own pleasure, drank a lot, in general, like most of his fellow villagers. One night, being drunk, he heard a knock on the door, opening it, he was simply numb, his younger brother Roman stood in front of him, covered in blood with a crippled face, and looked at his brother. Dmitry fell out of fear, his hands began to shake. He closed his eyes and shouted: "This cannot be, you have been dead for a long time!" When he looked at the door again, there was no one there, only the wind was rustling in the leaves of the trees. Since then, the brother began to appear to him every night. Nothing helped Dmitry, not vodka, not a doctor, even a priest, although he himself did not believe in God. He died hard, and constantly asked for forgiveness from his deceased brother.
This is the sad story my grandmother told me.

Happy 75th anniversary of the Great Victory!
I would like to share with you a story about my fellow countryman Min Alexander Pavlovich - Hero of the Soviet Union.
A general mobilization began. Russians, Uzbeks, Kazakhs were drafted into the army, but not Koreans, who were considered Japanese spies. By a special directive of the government, citizens of Korean nationality were not called up to the front. But by some miracle, Alexander still managed to get to the front. From July 1941 to August 1942, Alexander was a Red Army soldier of the construction battalion, with whom he took part in the bloody stubborn defense of Moscow. In 1942, Alexander Min was sent to the courses for junior lieutenants, which was under the 13th Army of the Bryansk Front. From October 1942 to January 1944 he was appointed adjutant of the 1st rifle battalion of the 605th rifle regiment of the 132 rifle Bakhmachi Red Banner Order of Suvorov division. Since January 1944, Alexander Min was appointed battalion commander of the 605th Infantry Regiment (132nd Infantry Division, 65th Army, 1st Belorussian Front).
Alexander Min was not tall, but strong and very mobile. At a young age, thanks to his grandfather's science, he mastered many of the techniques of Korean martial arts. Having become a commander, he quite often conducted "demonstration performances" among his fighters. Those present at these "performances" were delighted with what was happening before their eyes. They liked that Alexander could easily lay any opponent to the ground. Thanks to the fact that he was able to prepare his fighters well, his unit distinguished itself already in the first battle. The warriors not only withstood the onslaught of the superior forces of the enemy, but they themselves went over to a counterattack. The lieutenant even managed to capture the German Hauptmann. After this incident, Alexander was awarded the medal "For Courage"
In 1942. Alexander was tasked with destroying a large strategic bridge in the German front-line rear. To fulfill the task assigned to him, he decides to dress up the tall guys in the Essess uniform, and disguise the assault group as prisoners, among whom was Min. The soldiers hid their weapons under their clothes. The task was successfully completed, for this feat Alexander Min was awarded the Order of the Red Star. He was awarded the rank of senior lieutenant. He was appointed company commander. At the beginning of 1943. he had already commanded a battalion with the rank of captain. A year later, his battalion, in the battles for the city of Kovel in the Volyn region, managed to repel 5 enemy counterattacks, while showing massive heroism.
One of the brightest pages in the combat biography of the battalion commander was the capture of the village of Starye Koshary, which at that time was the headquarters of the German division. Alexander Min, with the help of his orderly, personally captured the German general, and his soldiers took the rest of the German staff officers. noteworthy is the fact that the captured German general was very surprised when he learned that Alexander was a Korean. The German asked him why he was fighting so bravely for the Soviet Union. To which Alexander replied: "You do not understand this, General." After this operation, Min was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky.
Alexander and his soldiers were given the next task: to break through the well-fortified enemy defenses in the area with. Pariduby (Starovyzhevsky district of the Volyn region). His battalion fulfilled its task, having lost almost half of its personnel in a heavy battle. Alexander Min did not return from this assignment ... It was 1944. Only a year he did not live to see victory to meet her with the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, which he was awarded posthumously on March 24, 1945. Alexander Pavlovich Min was buried in a mass grave in the village of Lukovo, Turia region, Volyn region.
He was a very brave, strong, purposeful, kind and easy-going person. His readiness for self-sacrifice, courage and courage, loyalty and devoted honesty conquered everyone who came across him - with Alexander Pavlovich Min, a true patriot of his people. By this he showed that he is part of the Great Victory over fascism.
For courage and heroism shown in battles against the Nazi invaders, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 24, 1945, Captain Alexander Pavlovich Min was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union - posthumously.
Decorated with the Orders: Lenin - 24.03.1945 (posthumously)
    Alexander Nevsky -09.02.1944
Patriotic War of the 1st degree - 26.07.1944/XNUMX/XNUMX
Patriotic War of the 2st degree - 20.09.1943/XNUMX/XNUMX
    Red Star - 25.07.1943/XNUMX/XNUMX
We will forever remember the feat of our people! Eternal Glory to the Heroes!

Hello everyone!! I congratulate everyone on this Great Victory Day !!! Since I am interested not only in investments, but also a little art and history, I would like to share with you one very interesting fact that happened during the war ...... Recently found records of secret missions claim that the Nazis stole Mona Lisa from the Louvre in Paris at the request of Hitler.

Hitler was a great art connoisseur and wanted to put all the great works of Europe in a museum in his hometown of Linz, Austria. The Nazis hid the painting along with other priceless works of art deep in an old salt mine in the Alps.

In case someone found the paintings, the mine would be blown up with all its contents.

But in 1945, a special group of troops, whose task was to save European treasures from Hitler, jumped with parachutes and rescued the Mona Lisa.

Some experts point out that the picture that the Nazis stole was a fake, created by a certain Frenchman to confuse the Germans, and that the true whereabouts of the original Mona Lisa during the war have not yet been declassified ... Two years after the war, Mona Lisa returned to her place in the Louvre .... Happy holidays everyone !!! P1003793021

    1) 20 years without a parade.
Few people know, but for 20 years, May 9 was not considered a holiday at all.
In 1948, the country's leadership announced that it was necessary to forget about the war and rebuild the state. And only in 1965, May 9 as a holiday was revived by Brezhnev.
    2) The Victory Banner participated in the parade only once.
The banner was sent to Moscow on June 20. It was planned that he would be carried across Red Square during the Parade. And those who hoisted the Victory Banner on the Reichstag had to carry it. However, it turned out that the heroes did not know the technique and methods of handling the banner, and they did not want to appoint others. After 20 years, the Victory Banner still took part in the festive procession, after which it was transferred to the Museum of the Armed Forces.
    3) In Europe, it is customary to celebrate the Victory over fascism holiday one day earlier.
The confusion stems from the difference between time zones and peoples' perceptions of when the war ended. For the inhabitants of Europe, it ended with the end of the fighting on the western fronts.

Victory Day fills our hearts with happiness, joy and pride. This is a great holiday, the most important one for our country!

Happy May 9 everyone. During the war, my grandmother was very young, she lived with her older brother and mother, her father left before the girl was born. There was a terrible famine, and the great-grandmother was too weak, for many days she had already been lying on the stove and was slowly dying. She was saved by her sister, who had previously lived far away. She soaked some bread in a drop of milk, and gave grandmother to chew. Slowly, little by little, my sister went out. So my grandparents were not left orphans. And grandfather, a smart guy, began to hunt gophers in order to somehow feed his family. He took a couple of buckets of water, walked into the steppe, and poured water into the gopher holes until a frightened animal jumped out of there. Grandfather grabbed him and killed him instantly so that he would not run away. He dragged home as many as he found, and they fried them, and the grandmother says that it was a real feast, and his brother's booty helped them to hold out. Grandfather is no longer alive, but grandmother lives and every summer she expects numerous grandchildren to visit. She cooks excellently, a lot, generously, and she herself takes a slice of bread with a tomato and eats after all. So I used to eat a little, simply and irregularly. And he feeds his family to the bone. Thanks her. She went through something from which the heart freezes, and raised a big glorious family. P90456701

Today we are celebrating the main memorable date of the current year - the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, with which I congratulate you all !!!
The history of the Great Patriotic War knows many stories of the heroic deeds of the defenders. One of such vivid examples is the immortal feat of Sergeant Erdni Delikov.
Commander of the ATR calculation of the 273rd Cavalry Regiment (110th Separate Kalmyk Cavalry Division, 51st Army, North Caucasian Front)
Sergeant Erdni Delikov on July 21, 1942, defending for six days the crossing of the Don River near the Pukhlyakovsky farm in the Ust-Donetsk region of the Rostov region, thereby ensuring uninterrupted evacuation of the population, livestock and the withdrawal of troops of the Southern Front, knocked out three armored cars and four cars with the Nazis ...
A splinter of an aerial bomb tore off a brave armor-piercer's leg, but, having received a mortal wound, he continued to fight the enemy ...
Many newspapers of the Soviet Union wrote about this heroic deed, as the newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda wrote on July 30, 1942: “Dying, the brave son of the Soviet people, soldier Delikov shouted to his comrades:“ Take my gun. Beat the fascist bastards! Let them know that ours are not retreating! "" Young soldiers, "the newspaper called," fight like Delikov! No step back!

By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 31, 1943, for the exemplary fulfillment of combat missions of the command on the front of the struggle against the Nazi invaders and the courage and heroism shown at the same time, Sergeant Delikov Erdni Teledzhievich was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
Also awarded the Order of Lenin.

Thanks to the fact that in the hearts of our grandfathers and grandmothers there lived a huge love for their homeland, and it was this love that pushed them to new exploits. Our grandparents fought not for world domination, but for the honor of their country and a peaceful sky overhead. The Soviet people strove to protect their homeland and give their children and grandchildren a peaceful life.
Once again, I congratulate everyone on the Great Victory Day and wish everyone never to know what war is in real life, and to live only in peace with themselves and others! And everything will be fine!

Today is a great day - Victory Day! And I asked my grandmother and found out interesting stories that I will describe below. I am writing this comment specifically for the "Victory Day" contest from RichMonkey. Thanks for the competition!

All five stories are real and not taken from the internet!

    1) The brother of the great-grandfather was taken prisoner during the war. The treatment of the prisoners was bad. But one day a German came and took him to his farm as a worker. He did chores, worked as a groom. The German did not offend him, he fed him well and had normal human relations. When the village was liberated by the wars of the Soviet Army, where he worked, the German asked him to stay with him to work, but his brother did not do this and joined the ranks of the Army to continue the war.

    2) During the occupation in the city of Smolensk, one officer lodged with his uncle. He was not verbose in character. He did not terrorize the owners of the house, but, on the contrary, brought chocolate and cookies to the children. During the raids, he warned that the owners did not leave the house. They were grateful to him for that.

    3) The relatives of the great-grandmother had a boyfriend who was not yet 18 years old, and he volunteered to fight in the war. According to his stories, it was very scary in the war and there was such a case that during the capture of one house they turned out to be the filling of the pie, that is, they were on the second floor, and there were fascists on the first and third floors, it is very scary, but the fighting spirit of the guy was not was broken and they coped with the combat mission, destroying the Germans.

    4) During the battle, the Germans took the height. The soldier was wounded and lay on the battlefield. To survive, the fighter pretended to be dead until the night, and at night he moved to his own people and there he was provided with medical assistance.

    5) During the Battle of Stalingrad, a young, thin eighteen-year-old lieutenant Vasilenko Grigory Ivanovich entered hand-to-hand with a huge German during the battle. The enemy had a large knife. The courage and will to live of a young lieutenant during a hand-to-hand fight, he managed to knock out a knife and kill a German with this knife. This case came under the supervision of the commander. The young lieutenant was presented with this knife with the inscription "for bravery"

These poems are being asked at school that I remember!

Let the sun shine brighter in the sky
    Nature smells and blooms.
    Celebrating victory today
    Great homeland people.

May the world that our grandfathers
We won back from the enemies
    Trouble no longer darkens
    and goodness surrounds us.

Let the faces shine with joy
    Through tears of sorrowful loss
    Let only good things happen.
    Glorious victory, vivat!

We will smile through pain and tears
And we will sing a glorious song
In honor of those who never return,
Who gave his life for his father's house.

And on this holiday, Victory Day,
    I want to wish everyone
So that troubles do not touch you.
    May grace rule the world!

Thank you very much for your attention, I tried very hard!

Congratulations to all on May 9!

In my region, just like in the rest, I am sure there are heroes who also deserve attention, but I remember 1 person whose story is stunning, I studied at school.

    Chistyakov, Fedor Fedorovich

(6 hours alone repelled enemy attacks and destroyed over 200 Nazis from a machine gun)

For this battle, Fedor was nominated for the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, but was awarded only the Order of Lenin, was awarded the rank of junior lieutenant and was entrusted with command of a machine-gun platoon.

He was born in 1922, and at the time of his exploits he was 20 years old, i.e. (1942).

At the front, Fedor was a cook, even during the bombing he could bake pancakes on a sapper blade and feed a lot of people.

Somehow, on the battlefield, Fedor was able to show ingenuity and stand out in the eyes of the battalion commander Slavnov. After that, he took him to himself as an orderly (something like a deputy). Fedor turned out to be a specialist in weapons, because he used to work at an arms factory.

The battalion in which Fedor was located was located in the center of the brigade's front, occupying various old villages. In these villages, they had to fight to the death: in the event of a breakthrough in this sector, the enemy could go to the rear of the 1st Shock Army.

At midnight on June 6, 1942, the enemy moved to a breakthrough in the Slavnov sector.

The garrisons fought off the attacks of about one and a half thousand fascists. But Fedor was more worried by the fact that in one of the garrisons there were only 37 soldiers and 1 machine gun "Maxim", collected by him personally, from the found parts, against about 700 Nazis.

Combat Slavnov allowed Fedor to go to that garrison and help with the onslaught of the Nazis. He grabbed a rifle and a bag of ammunition and fled. After arriving at a place where obviously the guys did not have time to fight off the onslaught of the enemy, he saw a broken machine gun. And immediately he began to repair it, after the serviceability was eliminated, he opened fire. Ammunition was given to him by the fighters who were nearby, the water in the casing of the cooling machine gun boiled, it was also changed to cold. Soon it was impossible to fire from the slot, it was filled with earth mixed with shells. Then Fedor had to put a machine gun on the roof of the "bunker" (long-term camouflaged firing point). The visibility has clearly improved, but it has become much more vulnerable. Several times enemy anti-aircraft guns fired by touch, trying to hit the machine gun behind which Fyodor was sitting. Several times he had to drag him to the shelter, where he again changed the water in the casing and replaced the red-hot barrel with a new one. Fedor was wounded in the arm, and the helmet was in several places with holes from shells, but this did not interfere with his defense. At some point, the forces of the enemy all perked up on Fedor's "bunker", there was no one to fill the machine gun with shells. Now he had to defend himself with a machine gun, grenades and a pistol. At some point, one of the soldiers crawled up to Fedor and brought him a belt with cartridges for a machine gun.

For six hours Fedor single-handedly fought off enemy attacks. As a result, the enemy did not pass, 8 people remained alive.

He died in another battle on November 3, 1942, saving a comrade.

    This is Fedor

And here on the left is Fedor, and on the right, battalion commander Slavnov

I congratulate everyone on the 75th Victory in the Great Patriotic War !!!

I come from Kyrgyzstan, and we, as well as in the entire post-Soviet space, have our own Heroes! On this occasion, I want to share with you some facts:

    - (Photo # 1): 1941. The chairman of the "October" collective farm reads out the message of the Soviet Information Bureau about the beginning of the war to the collective farmers
    :

    - From our country, during the Second World War, every fourth Kyrgyz citizen was sent to the ranks of the Red Army. A total of 363 thousand people, many of whom went to the front voluntarily. 71 of those who left became Hero of the Soviet Union, another 21 - a full Knight of the Order of Glory.

    - From July to September 1941, about 14 thousand people were trained in military affairs - of which the 385th rifle division, three rifle brigades and three separate battalions of machine gunners were formed. Photo # 2: 1941. Young fighters are preparing to fight back the invaders. Soldiers of the General Education in the field training.

    - Over 36 thousand collective farmers went to work in factories, mines, mines and railways of the Urals, Kuzbass, Karaganda, Kuibyshev. Therefore, men were replaced by adult women and adolescents who were trained in the skills of tractor drivers and combine operators. The old people who remained in the rear also worked.

    - During the war years, the collective and state farms of the Kirghiz SSR procured 4,5 million poods of grain, 2,7 million poods of potatoes and vegetables, 2,8 million poods of meat. In addition, collective farms, state farms, collective farmers and collective farmers donated 4,5 million poods of grain and 500 thousand poods of meat to the defense fund.

    - Kyrgyzstan has become a haven not only for the evacuated civilian population and workers (and this is over 160 thousand adults and children), but also for science - the institutes of the USSR Academy of Sciences (biochemistry, genetics, plant physiology, microbiology, paleontology and evolutionary morphology) were transferred to the republic together with local research institutions, they were engaged in topical developments of defense and national economic importance.

    - In addition to the obligatory dispatch of industrial products, the Kyrgyz people also sent gifts to the front - hundreds of carriages with short fur coats, felt boots, earflaps, gloves, woolen socks, quilted jackets. For the needs of the Soviet Army - the production of tanks, aircraft - money was also contributed.

    - There are 262 veterans of the Great Patriotic War left in Kyrgyzstan. Photo # 3:

On my own I would add that the Kirghiz SSR, like others, made a great contribution to maintaining the USSR. And together with the Soviet army, it broke through the front to the west! Particularly distinguished was the "316 division" formed in the cities of Alma-Ata of the Kazakh SSR and Frunze of the Kirghiz SSR, under the command of Major General I. V. Panfilov (previously the military commissar of the Kirghiz SSR). In 1941 they took part in the defense of Moscow! 28 Panfilov heroes stood in defense for the capital. In our city there is a monument to I.V. Panfilov. Photo # 4:
... And also after the end of the war, the Panfilov Park was built and opened, which, when viewed from above, is a pentagonal star.

We remember, we are proud, thank you !!! I am proud that I was born and raised on Soviet soil, on the land of the Winners! Peace and kindness to all!
